Remarks

very colourful, solid pecten
differs from Decatopecten amiculum (Philippi, 1851) from the Indo-Pacific and Red Sea by the number of ribs:

	Decatopecten amiculum 7-11 ribs, more weakly developed more circular shell
	Decatopecten plica 3-5 strong ribs more elongated shell
